Nice To Meet You!

I’m Annalena [she/her]–proud word nerd, relentless optimist, and brand strategist. I partner with mission-driven brands, founders, and organizations to translate complex, deeply human ideas into clear, compelling stories. Whether you are building a sustainable consumer packaged good brand, designing a personal finance tool, or rewriting the narrative around end-of-life care, I’m here to help you find the right words.

I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, Central Mexico, and the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts. Back in high school, I was too uncoordinated to play sports, so I spent my time farming instead. This extracurricular activity ballooned into a lifelong passion that led to a degree in Environmental Studies with a food systems concentration from the University of Vermont and a career working with food and beverage brands across the country.

Today, my work spans a diverse range of industries, but I am particularly energized by complex, emotional, or traditionally taboo subjects that require an extra dose of empathy to untangle. Lately, I am focused on the intersection of personal finance and end-of-life planning—two areas that touch everyone, yet rarely get airtime they deserve.

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll find me pulling weeds at a community garden, volunteering with hospice, or trying to remember my lefts and rights in a dance class.
